I felt like this second volume lost steam.

Not that first volume was amazing or anything, but that they were trying to have too many threads going with too few pages being dedicated to those threads. So for most of it, it feels like a jumbled mess. I could keep up with it but it wasn't easy and I felt shortchanged.

I feel it needed far more story to make this work.

CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:

This lucky little book has become part of nimrodiel's Manga & Graphic novel bookbox! :)

As usual, I'm trying to put a variety of types in here, so there's lots of stuff that people haven't seen before. This one qualifies I think!

Hope it finds a new reader! ;)

I actually liked this second volume as it felt like some of those many storylines are starting to come together. However, it did have that same slow build that many second parts to a story have (Empire Strikes Back anyone) as it gets ready to start the final climax in the third volume. Once again thank you for sharing this series with me as I most likely wouldn't have picked it up on my own, and it is something I have really been enjoying.
