I liked ‘Astray’ and loved ‘Room’ by this author, but I couldn’t get into this one at all. There was nothing wrong with it, it just wasn’t my thing. (Maybe because it was a mystery, which is one of my least-favourite genres.) I gave it about 50 pages, then gave up in favour of something else.
The hotel lobby has a book-exchange shelf to the left of the registration desk, above several shelves of items for sale. I’ll release this there sometime on the morning of Jan 18.
