I really like this one, but it is not one of his best. But I would love to be able to go inside his wonderful mind. Enjoy <3
Sending this book over the sea to the UK. Hope you will like it <3

Thank you so much for the book. This is one of my favourite Gaiman reads and I have a copy on my permanent list of books to keep and re-read.
Here's a copy of my review from my first read in 2013:
I absolutely loved this book. It's about Shadow, who is released early from prison because of the death of his wife. Not really knowing what to do with his life, he takes a job offer from the strange Mr Wednesday. Travelling across the length and breadth of America, he meets a lot of very strange characters - all Gods, of the old religions and the new fads - and is drawn into a war he very much doesn't want anything to do with.
I liked the sense of humour and the way all the Gods are woven into the narrative. Spotting who each one was supposed to be was fun. I loved the idea that Gods immigrate with their believers, although some of the themes of blood and worship I have read before in other fiction. Still, I liked Gaiman's unique twist. The only annoying bits for me was the obvious nature of the 'missing children' and sometimes Shadow just seemed a bit naïve, but I still liked this enough to put it aside for another read in the future.
