I really enjoyed this fun quick read, I know it was written for older children but it was well worth the read. I am now on the lookout for the next in the series.

I love Robin Jarvis as I really enjoyed the Deptford Mice. This book was great too- Whitby has a special place in my heart so the story, albeit one for a younger audience 😉 held my attention. The illustrations are beautifully drawn. Wise women indeed!

A great story with wonderful characters. I love Whitby, a very atmospheric place and I can just imagine all this happening there. I'm going to look out for others in the series.

What a fantastic surprise! 5 books! 3 of then being wishlist books :) Having a bit of a rubbish start to the year as our boiler has packed up, it's very chilly in my house! But this has put a smile back on my face.
