My book club selected this so I had no idea what to expect from it. All of the authors who wrote essays for this book traveled to Israel, Palestine, and/or Gaza through a group called Breaking the Silence. As a result, many of them visited the same villages and met the same people which made for some repetition. This book is over 400 pages long so I wish the editors had, you know, edited. I am not trying to diminish anyone's experience though. I just think that having several people talk about the same specific things throughout the book shows that the editors could have tightened things up by removing a paragraph or two from a few essays.
