Released in a friend's apartment building in Portland. Hope that she finds this book which I think she'd enjoy.
I'm doing a journal entry rather than a release note because it is a semi-controlled release.

Thank you! Besides loving the art of these books, this will be particularly interesting given my interest in anthropology and geography.
This is an interesting account of a fossil collectors field trip to the Patagonia. He is a man's man of his time and revels in the wilderness. I particularly enjoyed the part on how to correctly drink Yerba Mate.
The book isn't very technical and doesn't have a whole lot to do with what he actually finds, it's more his personal log of feelings and the day to day antics of the crew.

Uh-oh! This book looks extremely engrossing, plus it's making me want to read "Moby Dick"!
Thanks for putting it on the anthropology book relay!

I read tons of natural history books and this one was especially unique because it focused on relationships (sometimes stormy) between the anthropologists rather than just the subjects of their studies.
Inspired me to read Galapagos by Kurt Vonnegut next!
