Cometbus: Lanky

If you're familiar with Cometbus you may be thinking, "Hey, that's no book, it's a zine!" However, with a snazzy glossy cover, a spine and a whopping 90 pages its a fanzine AND a book. Woah. And its great. It's a quick read, but Aaron does an impressive job of telling the story of his relationship with his punk girlfriend Lanky, through a series of smaller stories and experiences. His tangents are fun to read along with, and he does a good job of capturing the endearing and humorous idiosyncracies of his friends. It also gives a nice peek at San Franciscan subterranean culture.
