My daughter went on and on about this and it took me ages to get round to reading it but I was pleased I did .. sad and funny and life affirming all at once. I was especially interested as I know someone who has the type of eye cancer the male protagonist has, and have heard about some of the research being done into it.
Even though this is officially teen fiction, it’s definitely worth reading. The film is pretty good too! Have some tissues ready though...

Ithought this would be depressing but instead found it inspiring. The story of two teenagers, both battling cancer and how they approach it and support each other. Heart wrenching but I'm glad my daughter recommended I read it.
