This was one of the books chosen by my reading group and not something I'd usually pick up. It was OK, but can't have been terribly memorable as I'm not sure what to write about it. There was a lot of family angst, some lovely Suffolk countryside and an unspeakably sad event in Africa. The writing style is beautiful, but it's not a book to tackle if you're after something light-hearted.

WILD RELEASE NOTES:

I'll be taking this book along to a gathering of Bookcrossers at the Knights Templar. If nobody takes it home, it'll be left somewhere in the city today for a stranger to find.

Had the most lovely bookcrossing meetup lunch and come home with more than I took......

I picked this on eup because it's Hilary Mantell, because it has a bit of Africa in it and because of the title - afterall what are we living through now but a "change of climate"

.........

A reminder why it's always better to talk through sad events as you never really leave them behind. And as with all Hilary Mantel it's just superbly written.
