I love Cecelia's books but I haven't read one for a long time. She has a way of making stories magical but believable.

I have a copy of this at home so this should encourage me to read it.
I've had this book on my shelf for a while and finally decided to pick it up. We meet 16 year old Tamara who has a perfect life. Suddenly her life is turned upside down and she now resides in a tiny village. She misses home. One day a travelling library turns up and Tamara gets a mysterious leather book. This is essentially where the story begins. And it is an enjoyable one.
Its not until I got to this point, did the title of the book mean anything. Its an interesting book with a little bit of magic. Although a go0d read, not my favourite from Ahern.3.5/5
