A great read full of suspense and complex characters. It made me think of the books I have read by Elizabeth Haynes who spoke at the Colchester UnConvention. I will be reading other books by this author and look forward to meeting her in October. In the meantime I will be turning this book into a book ray.
On the book ray list are:-
Poodlesister
Cassiopaeia
rahar109

Not your typical thriller. I’d definitely like to read the rest of the trilogy.

CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:
Will be travelling to the next reader when she returns from her hols.
Arrived today, thanks Poodlesister. Next up on tbr.
I think there is a good story in here but maybe it could have done with a lot more editorial input. I quite enjoy multiple timelines but there needs to be an effective device put in place to guide the reader through. It got a little frustrating having to flick back and forth working out who was who and trying to access if a character was important enough to the story line to worry about them. Having said that I realize this is a debut novel and this is potentially an interesting new writer, I’m happy to try another as this author shows promise.
Arrived safely in the post today.
Thank you for the labels!

Enjoyable book. I agree with Cassiopaeia that it needed editing and tidying up. I occasionally lost track of who was speaking and what exactly was happening/had happened. It will be interesting to see what the next book is like.
Posted to earthcaroleanne.
Enjoy!
Enjoy!
Arrived today, along with another 2 books of course. My backlog just won't disappear.
I enjoyed this and look forward to the next two. I do agree with the others though. I sometimes got confused and had to think hard about who everyone was. At one point I thought Lydia's attack was Anne's flashback and had to double check the names. I did find the descriptions very good and could picture this town.

OK, there has been no response to the forum post extending this bookring and Ardachy has said I can do what I want with this rather than posting it back to him. Therefore, I have decided to give it to a colleague at work that I think may enjoy this.
