I got this good-condition hardcover at a local Savers thrift shop. It's a fascinating overview of the construction of Boston's subways - the first in the US! I especially liked the cutaway illustrations showing the tunnels in contrast to the streets of Boston; in some cases they're dug well below street-level, and in others the tracks went right through the foundations and even the first floors of existing buildings.
