I got this paperback from the book-swap shelf at the Exit 2 park-and-ride in Salem NH while dropping off some books of my own. It's the final volume in Koontz's re-imagining of the "Frankenstein" story, and has some interesting (and very creepy) elements, but it didn't really draw me in and I wound up doing a lot of skimming. (I admit that a book which starts off with mind-control probes and clones isn't likely to win me over, but I gave it a try anyway!)
