I got this fair-condition softcover from Better World Books, expecting a humorous take on various pop-culture stereotypes about ninjas. And, yes, there is some of that - but overall I found it a bit too heavy-handed. (Also surprisingly grisly - there's an illustration of the incorrect way to rapidly sheath one's sword, showing a self-bisected ninja in a pool of blood and guts.) I didn't find myself laughing much, and the bits that I did like really seemed as if they came in from a different book: the section on "foes", for example, includes an illustration of a dangerous "lepretaur" - a centaur that's half horse, half leprechaun. Yeah... but the picture made me smile more than the previous several chapters did. So your mileage may vary as to the entertainment value of the book, but it's certainly unusual!
