Elizabeth Is Missing: A Novel

I really enjoyed this book. I read it with a personal motive. My grandmother and aunt have dementia and I'm afraid it could happen to me, too, and I was hoping that I might learn something useful. So I read it through that lens. It was fascinating. I wasn't sure whether or not to trust the narrator -- largely because she couldn't even trust herself. The notes were unreliable. I found the whole concept fascinating.
it arrived and will go on the read sooner shelf, as a possible book club book. Thanks!
rabck from mrsjones; Elderly Maud's friend Elizabeth is missing. She's positive of that - the notes in her pocket say so. At first, you think this is just a memory slip of a doddering older woman, but then her memory lapses jolt you into the past - where her sister Sukey is lost....maybe. What is fact, what is fiction? The young author does a wonderful job of portraying the thoughts of a woman with dementia.
