Dean Koontz is a witty writer. Maybe saying that shows just how low-brow I am, but I find his brand of humor quite amusing. Odd Thomas is a macabre story about the dark forces that work in this world. Most of us go through life blissfully unaware, but Odd Thomas has a "gift" that makes them apparent to him. The Odd one is a bona fide hero with a sad past. But he has several very good friends and the love of Stormy, who he calls "my destiny".
I enjoyed this book so much that I had a hard time breaking away from it to do regular stuff, like cooking dinner and sleeping.
