Sam Robbins is a country boy, who is accidentally caught up in the Napoleonic Wars and serves on HMS Victory. Molly Jennings has just moved to the States, and despite a caring stepfather who can offer her a fabulous home with a pool, she is desperately homesick. When she buys a book about the life of Nelson she finds that her life is strangely entangled with Sam's, hundreds of years in the past. The lives of the two children are beautifully interwoven in this fabulous book - aimed at older children but I think anyone will love it.
