I claimed this softcover at today's BookCrossing meetup in Porter Square, largely because the fetish-wear title made me laugh! Sounds like a lively read.
Later: This is the third book in a series featuring detective Samantha "Sam" Jones, who's also a sculptor - indeed, the unveiling of one of her works sets the scene for the first crime, amid a slew of social-butterfly suspects. Sam's a kickass, sexy, forceful woman - who does not always make the best choices when it comes to bedmates (or getting into dangerous situations), and while there are lots of lively and funny bits there are also some grisly and bleak ones. For all her party-girl ways, Sam ends this one on pain meds and with regret for what she sees as her own failure...
