On a tour of Little Free Libraries this afternoon, I was excited to spot a Bookcrossing book & couldn't resist bringing it home with me. It was fun to see this book was left in the box just two days ago, by a Bookcrosser I've met at get-togethers in London. Thanks for the book, Poodlesister :-)

I vaguely remember having a copy of this book many moons ago, but I didn't recall the story; I'll ask my children if they remember reading it. It was a stirring, adventurous tale- one I would've loved as a child- and a simple read after my latest book group choice, which was both long & complicated.
