I got this softcover at a local thrift shop, tickled by the title. It's an amusing tale told in alternating viewpoints by three friends, two guys and a girl - and, yes, part of the plot has to do with who wants to be more than friends with whom, and how miscommunication really messes things up {wry grin}. But it's also a look at bias in the schoolroom - specifically having to do with teachers who make assumptions about students based on the performance of their older siblings, but with some entertaining variations. Fun aspects of adopted kids coping with well-meaning parents' attempts to help them "learn about their culture" too.

WILD RELEASE NOTES:

I plan to leave this book in or near Porter Square early this afternoon, on my way in to a Saturday BookCrossing Meetup. Hope the finder enjoys the book! [Update: an adorable tiny child was running around spooking the pigeons as I tried to drop off the book, hence the feathery closeups in the photo {wry grin}.]
