This is not an ordinary book: it's a BookCrossing book! BookCrossing books are world travelers - they like to have adventures and make new friends...and every once in a while they even write home to say what they've been doing.

Most of these models are designed to hold a coin, and many of them could be used in a celebratory lei. The book originally came with special paper for the various models, but that has been used up. Don't let that stop you from trying to make the charms, though: a lot of them work just fine from other papers, and you can always draw on faces if you'd like. :)

Spiral bound: I think this copy was from the Friends of the Library.
