Quitting on page 90 because I'm bored. I wonder if this book would have been published if the author did not already have a reputation as a novelist. Marketed as lyrical reflections during the year following the birth of her child, it comes off as sleep-deprived rambling when she did not have the focus or energy to pull off a cohesive narrative.
