I got this good-condition hardcover from the ongoing book-sale at the Milford NH public library. It's about the author's visit to an enclave of the Miccosukee Indians, deep in the Florida Everglades. The book describes how the surviving Miccosukee moved deeper into the Glades as their original territory was taken over, and includes historic photos as well as current ones.
I'm adding this to the Indigenous Peoples bookbox. Hope someone enjoys it!
