I got this good-condition softcover at the ongoing book-sale in the Milford NH public library, attracted by its Toronto setting. Turns out it's a bit too surreal for me, what with characters who are Russian nesting dolls, one whose parent was a mountain, etc. - and the focus on free wi-fi through all of Toronto feels more than a little dated. There is a triumphant conclusion, but - well, this one just didn't grab me.

I left this book on one of the chairs in front of the iconic Peterborough Diner on Depot St. on this warm afternoon; hope the finder enjoys it!
