Enjoyed this harrowing story for the majority of the recounting including the airline facts. It's the teamwork that counts! (given that the team have the requisite skills)

This one's for hubby....
Qantas Flight 32 was a Qantas scheduled passenger flight that suffered an uncontained engine failure on 4 November 2010 and made an emergency landing at Singapore Changi Airport. The failure was the first of its kind for the Airbus A380, the world's largest passenger aircraft. The failure was determined to have been caused by the breaking of a stub oil pipe which had been manufactured improperly. Captain Richard Champion de Crespigny, has been credited in the media as "having guided a heavily damaged double-decker jet to the safety of Singapore Changi Airport and averting what could have been a catastrophe".

This is the story of an amazing incident and well worth reading. The book did start a bit slowly with all the details but soon became an enthralling read.
