My Review: I love this author and series! Lilah Drake is a fun, likeable, smart, sassy character. The other characters are interesting too. I can't wait to read the next one to see what happens with Lilah, her boyfriend Jay and her sweet dog Mick.

Lilah is smart and funny. She happens to be a good cook with a little business of cooking meals for friends to buy discreetly and show off as their own creative meal. But this time, arriving at a party with a dish and her dog Mick, someone winds up face down in the rice pudding! And so begins the story. Not telling much else as I don't want to spoil it.

I really like Lilah and if I lived in her area, I'd probably ask her to cook something for me to present as my own. I simply enjoy this cozy series and look forward to reading the next installment. I thank JennyC1230 for introducing me to cozy mysteries and sharing with me.
