Encountered this classic late in life in Shakespeare & Co., Paris, and it has the shop's stamp on the title page. I was dumbfounded - never imagined such witty, rollicking writing in a classic.
Unfortunately the typeface is minute, and that used for reproducing correspondence even minuter.

I now have a much more comfortable Folio Society edition and am reading one chapter per night before I turn the light out. It really is a good book. I am releasing the paperback and hope someone will like it!
