The novel "Room" is written by Emma Donoghue through the point of view of a five-year-old named Jack who has lived in captivity all of his live with his mom in this room. It is either dark or tragic but the tone is of innocence and curiosity, that has the undertone of his mother resilience to raise Jack as a normal child in such situation.
