A body is discovered in a Milan apartment, and Inspector De Vincenzi investigates. The apartment happens to belong to and old university friend of his, Aurigi. When the body turns out to be that of Aurigi's banker, and a phial of prussic acid is discovered in the bathroom, suspicion falls on the apartment's owner, and De Vincenzi is agonisingly torn between his sense of duty and his loyalty to an old comrade...

Yes, I'm sure I could have read it and still got the box out within a week but I had a Bookray to read quickly as well so I've just take this out and will read at leisure.
Certainly not an author I've read before so let's see how I get on.

A very gentle murder and a great reading of a full cast of characters to solve the puzzle. I actually really liked this small but entertaining book and would read more from this author if they came my way.
