Picked this up at York bookcrossing. Started to read it but lost interest. the world created was a bit depressing and the plot wasn't exciting enough to motivate me to continue reading.

Collected at December meetup for no particular reason. Weird-ass scifi. Hooray.

That was bizarre. After an environmental disaster, the population is only a fraction of what it was and governments are doing mass ethnic cleansing - against the backdrop of an unpublished book about aquatic ape theory popular in the 90s but disproved.

Since this has been kicking around for a while now, in order to free up some space on the Brigantes OBCZ Bookshelf, I thought I'd move it on to the Ye Olde Starre Inne OBCZ Bookshelf - where hopefully it'll find a new reader...
