I really loved Monica Ali's "Brick Lane" and found this in BMV's bargain bin today for just $1.99. In this novel/mystery story, an up and coming chef in London, England seems to have everything going for him, until a worker is found dead in the basement of the kitchen. Then a mysterious woman with a connection to the dead man appears.... and his life will change forever.
