I got this good-condition hardcover at the ongoing book sale at the Dunstable MA public library. It's about a man who founded a nonprofit organization to help communities build and maintain safe playgrounds for kids - and it darts between tragic anecdotes of what happens to kids who have no safe places to play and societal tendencies to over-protect (to the point of litigation) kids who only want to be able to run around. There's discussion of lots of recent social and technological trends, mixed with the details of the author's cause and the road he took to achieve his goals.
