Thank you, the book arrived yesterday. I've read this book (and seen the movie, can't remember which was first) in the beginning of 1990'm when I was a teenager. Oh how time flies.
This one is definitely worth reading again, this time in English. Thanks!

Reading this one was interesting as I remembered bits of it and the movie, like the church and the fire. The story didn’t move me as much as it did as a teen, but it was a touching tale of brotherhood, love and survival.
Thirty years ago I read the Finnish translation and I recall it was somehow different, so I searched it from the library - the Finnish translation is written in slang as this one is in quite universal English, but I don’t know if it’s a Penguin Classic thing and the original was in slang too. This was quite easy book to read, for a classic.
Thank you for the opportunity!
