A heart-wrenching but deeply funny and ultimately uplifting story of family, love, loyalty and hope -- a captivating look at the wonders and absurdities of human life... as only a dog could tell it.
Loved the book, though I found the plot about the grandparents a bit too much. They need not be that cruel and calculating to make the story works. The narrative voice makes up for it.
