4/19/04 update - Oy! this was every bit as engrossing as I'd heard it would be.

I'm going to release this as a ray. The order so far:

casperette (MN) - prefer US read
seekmyface (NY)- international OK read
-ma- (France) - Europe OK <----

Arrived in todays mail as part of a bookray! My sons have read all of these books and loved them. I have seen all of the movies and have just been fascinated at all the special effects and I love the story line! Haven't read one before but I am going to read this one as soon as I finish my current read! Looking forward to read the words that put J.K. Rowling on the book charts! : )

I am just finishing up this book (probably late tonight) but while I had a few minutes here I had to say wow!!! I wasn't sure if this would be for me... but as I said in my previous journal, I loved the movies and I love the J.K. Rowling story. She amazes me how she came from poverty to create this amazing story that has made her richer than the Queen of England!!
From the moment I picked it up just a few days ago, I have enjoyed this book! I understand 'Quidditch' better now then when I seen it in the movie. Of course, my kids are thrilled that they see me reading something they have read and are encouraging me to read the others as well.
I thouroughly enjoyed this book and will have it in the mail to seekmyface by Friday. Thank you labmomnm for giving me this opportunity! : )

Caught this book from casperette on 5/4/04. This is a book ray. I have already read the book(could not wait) so I will be passing it on to the next on the list -ma- in France! As with all of the HP book's this one is great I am sure ma will love it. Just think this book will go on and on all over Europe. Good luck Harry

Sure I would be enjoyed by this book... and I will find another BCers in Europe to continue the ray.

What a shame ! I've read it and I've forgotten it on my bookshelf !
However, it's a wonderful book.

I'm going to resume the Ray asap !
