This was a very nice, pleasant book to read. Somewhere in the middle I did start to wonder if anything was truly going to happen in the book, even though the meandering through the circus is fun enough to entertain you for quite some time. The ending was lovely, perhaps a bit too convenient but that didn't bother me. I really smiled when I ended reading it and couldn't stop my mind from going back to the circus and its many curious tents.

Edited to say: I remember reading somewhere that the first sentence of the book was absolutely perfect. When I started the book myself I didn't understand what was so perfect about it, but now I do! ;-)

Wat leuk dat je op deze pagina bent komen kijken. Als je dit leest, heb je een boek gevonden, zomaar een onverwacht cadeautje van mij voor jou. Veel plezier ermee! Hierbij trouwens wat spelregels betreft bookcrossing:

1. Het zou fijn zijn als je meldt dat het veilig bij jou is. Dat mag gewoon in het Nederlands.
2. Daarna kun je het boek gaan lezen en als je wilt nog eens schrijven wat je ervan vond.
3. Mag het boek verder reizen? Geef het dan door aan iemand anders of laat het zomaar ergens weer achter, liefst op een veilige, droge plek. Je kunt via de bookcross-site ook weer melden waar je het hebt neergelegd, zodat anderen ernaar op zoek kunnen gaan.

TIP: Als je het boek op zijn reis wilt volgen, dan kun je je best aanmelden als nieuwe bookcrosser (www.bookcrossing.com/join). Het is erg leuk om erachter te komen hoe het met 'jouw' boek op z'n reis verder gaat!!

Not my cup of tea. In search for another reader.

Yesterday, I visited the OBCZ GC Koetshuis and found two english books that I could enjoy and leave at my holiday destination after being read.
I started reading in this book, even when still at home, just a few chapters in it and oh I totally like it. Very glad I found this book and I will leave it in a hotel at the Azores in the coming weeks.

Left this book at the large books shelf/cupboard at the hotel.
This hotel receives visitors often enough, so hopefully finds another reader soon.
