I got this hardcover from the charity-sale shelves at a local Hannaford's, amused by the old-style TV-dinner tray on the cover. It contains a number of entertaining stories, each themed on a different holiday. There's the time the little brother decided to hide the frozen holiday turkey from thieves - by stashing it under his bed for two weeks; the author's own childhood trauma when he had to have surgery on his arm; childhood games with toy army-men; and more.

I left this book on a window ledge in the entrance of the Peddler's Daughter on my way in to lunch on this snowy day. Hope the finder enjoys the book!

Entertaining. A perfect holiday read when one is worn out with festivities and just wants a laugh. I'm grateful to Mr. Kling for the amusing stories and to GoryDetails for sharing this with me.
