From the back cover:
"After his glorious return to fiction with 'Quicker Than The Eye', Ray Bradbury gives his readers another new collection of stories to fascinate and astound.
Bradbury has travelled many roads in the course of a long and celebrated career: rutted backwood paths that led to dark and dangerous places; country highways that wound through the unseen heart of America; shimmering turnpikes as limitless and exciting as the unbound imagination. In 'Driving Blind' he takes us on twenty-one roads we have never visited before. Here are unforgettable excursions to the fantastic, glorious grand tours through time and memory, where surprises are waiting around each bend and just beyond every roadsign."

WILD RELEASE NOTES:
releasing, as promised...
I picked this up from York Book Crossing Meet-Up in Brigantes about a year ago and finally got round to reading it. As with all short story collections, some are better than others but there were a lot more good ones in this than in most collections. Ray Bradbury has a great descriptive style. My personal favourite was 'Remember Me?' but there were plenty more stand-out ones.

Picked up in Brigantes Bar, York. Looking forwards to this!
I think of Bradbury as an SF author, but it took me a surprisingly long to realise that the majority of these stories have no SF/fantasy elements at all. It's not straightforward realism either- everything is more intense, more improbable, more colourful than life, so when a talking rat does turn up, it fits right in.
