Sitting on my bookshelf for years unregistered and unread. Finally I have done both! The reading took me longer than expected, I found it hard to get into and kept on putting it aside after a few pages.
A very slow paced, and sad story about love, friendship and suicide.
I galloped through the last 100 pages however, as the story and the characters drew me in.

Beautiful, evocative story.

I recently found this book at a caravan park in Palm Cove, and when I saw the bookcrossing stickers I remembered that about 15 years ago I used to belong to this site and I absolutely loved the idea of tracking where my books went. I was amazed to find that I was still registered on the site and that 3 books I dropped in 2003 had each been picked up, but unfortunately haven't been heard of in many many years.
I really enjoyed this book and will be passing it on.
