Quick read, not as good as I had hoped. Does give a sense of the delicate balance of elements required to make good wine, and I got some sense of place (my primary reason for reading).

And, being set in France, food plays a large role in this as well.

I also expected more from this book, but it was still enjoyable. At times I was confused where the main character was going......but I thought how the mystery is solved was inventive.
