I am beginning to get a little soft spot for Mount Polbearne – a quintessentially Cornish seaside town with cobbled streets, a fishing fleet and a lighthouse, it really does sound the perfect holiday destination and this book in particularly has really got me yearning for the summer to come now.

Taking this summery book to the annual meeting in Castricum!
Found this book today at the big table in Castricum, I recently read a short story by Jenny Colgan, and this one looked so nice and summery, that I took it home!
And it was all nice and summery, except for some storms (both in life and in nature). Really liked reading this book, even though I didn’t read the previous one about Polly, but that wasn’t a problem at all.

I should have journalled this earlier, sorry. I had put these boks aside to take to the next local meet up - which has still not happened thanks to Covid. I am hoping to organise something this month though, so time to get sorted out.
