A Town Called Forget is Anne of Green Gables turned on its head. But in this tale it is not an over-imaginative redheaded orphan that takes center stage but the off-beat town itself, full of individuals that should be restrained if not medicated. And the poor heroine of this yarn, banished to live with her Aunt Lily whom her parents have never publicly recognized, has to navigate the delicate balance between her aunt's sanity and neuroses.

CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:

In a town called Forget, lives very eccentric citizens.

The Girl has been sent to stay with Aunt Lily who lives in Forget. Aunt Lily delegates work to The Girl and calls The Girl by the work she is doing at that moment and The Girl is instructed to wear the appropriate clothing to perform the work such as Cook; Maid; Gardening; etc.

The citizens of the town are even stranger as they go along with the idiotic nature and either approve Aunt Lily's lifestyle or disapprove.

It took me awhile to find the humour in the story line but after sticking with it, there are definitely some laugh out loud moments. I think everyone needs an Aunt Lily in their life to turn everyone upside down on their ear!
