Thank you, I am really looking forward to reading it, and you have been most generous, as usual! Ah, I love the cat BC label by mcsar... :)
Currently reading it... :)
I really, really enjoyed reading this novel.
A first novel by a physician married to a neurosurgeon... and the main characters are a GP married to a neurosurgeon! She certainly knows what she is writing about.
I loved the character description, and the dynamics between the family and those close to them. It rang true and everything was quite believable.
I really loved the final twist, I won't spoil it for the next readers, but I didn't see it coming... in fact, not at all what I expected.
This really brings forward some questions, such as: Do we really know well those who surround us? Do we spend enough time with them, or are we swamped with work all the time?
As I said, this made for great reading...
I will send it to the decoy in the Family Sweepstakes as soon as it is safe to go out again...
