This lawyer/reptile thanks you for the book! Since I have been feeling particularly reptilian lately, I look forward to reading this shortly. Maybe I will be able to laugh at myself and thereby get over myself. For the record, I have never cared for lawyers and even the lawyers I now count as friends (an occupational hazard) I may like as human beings and respect as lawyers, but I am still a bit leery of the lawyerness. Heck, it is the lawyerness in myself that often is the hardest to live with.

Journal Entry 4 by wing6of8wing at Rockville, Maryland USA on Tuesday, April 23, 2019
A friend of mine gave me this book and I read it for fun and giggles as a way to recover from a rough school semester. Most of the quotes and jokes were familiar to me -- I was a habitual teller of lawyer jokes before I became a lawyer and I have heard a lot of them since. Nothing exciting, but a little bit of mental fluff is good once in a while.
