When James Bowen found an injured, ginger street cat curled up in the hallway of his sheltered accommodation, he had no idea just how much his life was about to change. I had my doubts about this book because I had read another one by a homeless guy and his attitude just annoyed me, however this was a great book. It just shows what a difference a pet can make to someone's life. My heart nearly stopped when Bob went missing and James felt "for the first time in my life I experienced an overwhelming need for a fix". I don't think it's an understatement to say they saved each other's lives.

Sending this book travelling in memory of Judy who gave it to me and unfortunately passed away last month.

Won it at Miss Markey‘s BookSwap Game at the Convention in Mainz. But I have already read it so I left it on the book buffet for somebody else to enjoy. Thank you anyway 🙂
