Received the book this weekend. I read The Devil in the White City by this author and loved it.
I loved The Devil in The White City. The dual-story worked well in that book. Larson writes another dual-story in Thunderstruck but it does not work as well in this book. The connection between the two halves of Thunderstruck feel a little strained. I struggled to see how they connected. I understand that Marconi's invention helped in the arrest of Crippin. There were years between the two events. This required Larson to jump back and forward in time which lost me slightly.
