"Under the Paw" arrived in my mailbox and boy was that kitten happy to be out of the little plastic bag! Everything in good condition. Yesterday I started to read a new Cozy Mystery but I think I'll put it aside so I can read this one and move it alone to glade1. It looks to be a quick and enjoyable read.
It's taken me a couple weeks to read this book as about the only reading time I've had lately is in bed before I go to sleep. Sometimes, I might read several pages and other times I can get through only one or two. The book wasn't quite what I expected. It's not about the cute little kitten on the front cover. She's sweet and will tempt your interest but the story isn't one about a rescue cat as many "cat" stories are. Rather, it's about a young couple who both have "soft spots" for felines. They end up having several cats and actually moving to the country to provide a more comfortable and safe place for their pets. The people adapt their lives to suit the likes and habits of a variety of cats and kittens. No cat training/ discipline here only people training/discipline.
There is no plot to this book. You merely see how they live from day to day with the problems created by the cats. In the end, the "story" simply stops.
On a 1-10 scale I'd rate this book a 7. Good book if you love reading about cats but it didn't grab me in a big way. It will be mailed 6/23/17 to glade1 in Greensboro NC.

Now there's a cat who KNOWS, and is trying to tell you, that this book was definitely sent for him/her. Terrific photo. You never know when something cute and precious is going to drop into your life! Sometimes we overlook the little things which can be the best thing in our day.
Read this one in a couple of days and it had me laughing out loud in places. I love this cat man! Thank you for sending my way! I'm not sure what happens now with it, so I'll mark it as available.
Mailed to dvg via media mail. Enjoy!
Arrived safely in NJ this weekend. I will start this tomorrow and have it traveling to the next in line shortly. =^..^=

CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:
A fun, enjoyable read that was well written. So happy I had the chance to read it, thank you for sharing with me. The book is now traveling to ravencat, the next on the bookring list. Happy Reading and Happy BookCrossing!
Arrived and will get to it shortly.
Released for the Animals Bookbox.
Arrived home with the other Animals!! I am really excited to read this one...which means it will likely sit on the shelf for another 10 years...but the excitement is real.
An enjoyable enough story of a man and his gal with a bunch of cats. They are all rescue cats, which makes me happy. It is very English, and has a lot of English words (a mog is a cat -- I wasn't aware). I am planning on passing my copy to a friend, who has married into a cat family (I think at one point she had 26...though I think they are down to like 9 now).
Sending off to rubyrebel as an apology for taking so long to read the book I promised to send
Thank you so much for this book. It was an unexpected package in the mailbox today. Lifted my spirits from work.
