Bought this for a fellow bookcrosser as part of a tag game but read first - very good read with twists/turns in the plot.

Yay! This has arrived safely in Edinburgh and made me very happy as it is the first book in a series I've been wanting to read for quite a while. Thanks for sending it to me. :-)
Well this was worth the wait. An interesting set of characters, particularly some of those in the police force who seemed to have a rather flexible sense of morality. Like Charlotte1924 I thought there were some good twists and the occasional red herring. Thanks again for tagging me with this one.
And off it goes to the winner of the tea and mystery sweeps. Hope they enjoy it!
Thank you bookfrogster for sending me this book. It introduces me to a new author and a new mystery series. Always a welcome. And it is book 1 in the series too. I look forward to reading it with a cup of tea.
Finally got around to reading this one. It was a good mystery with interesting characters and some great plot twists. Recommended.
