Journal Entry 5 by bookfrogster at Edinburgh, Scotland United Kingdom on Wednesday, January 29, 2020
Caught at the "Poodlesister's in town!" meet up. Thank you!
I read this over the last few days and absolutely loved it. Probably my favourite book by Sedaris so far. Some parts really made me laugh out loud. Thank you so much for bringing this one to the meet up. It was just what I needed.
And FINALLY off it goes to Shnedwards as a bit of "Tentatively emerging from lockdown" rabck, ;-) Hope you enjoy this book as much as I did.
It’s here! Thanks so much bookfrogster! If you see something on my available shelf that I can send you in return, please do let me know.
I bumped this right up to the top of my TBR pile because I always do that with David Sedaris books. I recognised a lot of this one from his recentish readings on Radio 4, but I didn't mind because I can listen to those over and over again anyway :D
Thanks again. Hope to move it along somehow soon.
