Turns out my host during the Oslo convention had just sorted out a big box of books that she promptly offered to me when I told her about Bookcrossing :-) Of course I couldn’t resist the temptation… Thank you so much for this book!

This one actually travelled home with me, since it's a book I still want to read :-)

Finally managed to read this classic. Dark and scarily relevant - felt great and at the same time very uncomfortable to read.

Finally read it. I skipped the introduction; could have been better to read it. In my opinion, it's actually kind of boring. About the first one hundred pages of the book (not the introduction itself!) are just introduction and claptrap. I even thought of abort the book, but it gets more exciting with the beginning of the relationship of Winston and Julia. The end is disappointing. All in all a classic (so you have to read it once in your life), but not one of my favorites.
